Viktor had completed his studies atáthe Far East Institute ofáArts, Shchukin Theater School, and graduate school ofáthe Russian Theater Academy.
Between 1991 and 2001, heáworked ináMoscow Youth Theater under the tutelage ofáG. Yanovskaya and K. Ginkas.
In 1993, heábecame one ofáthe organizers and the artistic director ofáthe first independent theater festival atáSochi, called ôTheater ináSearch for Theater.ö
Between 1995 and 2001, heáwas also the artistic director ofáKamchatka Drama and Comedy Theater. Iná2000, together with the actors ofáKamchatka theater, Viktor organized international theater project ôPatrol No. 8ö that took part inánumerous international festivals.
In 2001, Viktor joined Moscow Art Theater School asástage management lecturer. Took part ináthe graduation ofáthe Schoolĺsáfirst group ofástage directors (2002-2005, artistic director was Kama Ginkas). Heáisáanáactive participant ofáthe joint program organized byáMoscow Art Theater School and MFA program atáHarvard University.
Since 2002, heáisáone ofáthe founders and managers ofáVolodin Theater Festival ôFive Evenings,ö organized ináSt. Petersburg.
For many years, Viktor has been aáclose creative collaborator ofáplaywright Ivan Vyrypaev, and has staged his plays Oxygen, źExistence No. 2╗, źValentineĺsáDay╗, The City Where IáAm, July, Drunks, and others.
Viktor stages productions both ináRussia and abroad.
